Have I mentioned previously that I love pumpkin?
I used this recipe from Bon Appetite for our Halloween Dinner Club a few weeks back and it was a hit. Faced with making a dish suitable for toting to multiple Thanksgiving dinners miles apart, I decided to go with this make-ahead recipe. NOTE: While flavor is amazing regardless, limiting transportation and re-refrigeration will lend itself to crispier bars. These bars make a great alternative to pumpkin pie and can be cut in fairly reasonable portions. No one said you had to stop at just one bar though 🙂
