They say the key to marketing is understanding the hot button issues of your client or customer. And while this blog is far-removed from following a formal business model, I’d argue that delivering the content your audience (or select few close friends and family) find most valuable is key to making them happy. And you know I’m all about making other people happy. Which is why I avoided inserting a Spice Girls video at the beginning of this post.

You’re welcome.
I recently took on additional responsibilities at my day job, leaving me with only one or two free evenings each week. So I suppose I could call it my night job too. Or just my job. You get the gist. Added responsibilities are great for career path but mean an adjustment for blogging, extracurriculars and overall health habits.
But don’t give up on me yet. We’re still knee deep in planning a rapidly approaching wedding (yay 6 month planning window!) and I’ve got all kinds of random musings about that process to share with you. For example, I lost nearly half of my Saturday browsing pages and pages of veils until I couldn’t see the difference between fingertip, waltz and hip. I know what you’re thinking. I thought it was just a dance style too. Perhaps that’s where they got the idea from. And perhaps that person should have been bopped on the head like a V-8 commercial for making simple things studpidly complicated. Let’s just say I wanted to give the whole veil idea a certain fingertip by the end of it.
And don’t even get me started on choosing a menu for 200 of your closest friends and family when food is one of your love languages. I probably don’t need to describe to you the look on Matt’s face if a waiter forgets to tell us the specials until I’ve already ‘made up my mind’ about what I’m going to order at a restaurant.
Oh shoot. Sea Bass is on special. Should I get the Sea Bass? Do you want get the Sea Bass? Hey should we split the Sea Bass?
Bless his heart.
So before I continue to post random musings about wedding planning and Florida winters, I thought I’d do a quick content survey to see what you guys are interested in reading in the coming year. Do me a favor and vote below to share your opinion. And if you’re not into polls, go ahead and leave a comment with what you would like to see.
And depending on how you voted I hope the following corresponding photos will tide you over for the time being.
This is me working out.
This is a picture of our neighborhood cows.
This is a picture of Florida in January.
This is a picture of the strawberries I bought last week to make shortcake and forgot about shortly thereafter because why would I remember strawberries in January.
This is what I like to do with Finn just to see how far his head tilts.
This is another one of our engagement photos because I’m too superstitious to show you a sneak peek of my wedding dress.
Photos taken by the talented Caitlin Lisa Photography.
This is a picture of my birthmark, a blonde streak I’ve had since birth that really seems to stand out in black and white. P.S. I think he’s pretty handsome too.
Have a great weekend!
Love the pictures! And he is handsome.
The poll makes you pick only one. What if I want more random musings AND wedding humor AND what my dog ate!? We always enjoy your blog whatever it contains!
Can I vote for pictures of the dog and things Matt eats?
you got it Al.
